Mary Lee gives the perfect personal touch to her weddings. We met her about a year in advance, and after an hour or so in a cafe, she felt like family! I really appreciated getting to read her speech ahead of time. I was worried that, because we aren't religious and didn't have any special passages to read, the ceremony would be bland, but Mary Lee put together a moving piece that honestly made me cry the first time I read it. She's also flexible - a few months before the wedding we decided to add a moment of silence for deceased loved ones, and it was no problem. AND she's funny - we were giggling through our entire rehearsal. :)

Mary was our officiant and it could not have gone more perfectly! Mary was very responsive to all my emails, and even kept me on track when I took my time getting our ceremony outline to her. Mary Lee was amazing. Made my fiancé and myself very comfortable and everything very

casual just like I asked for. She became part of the family after performing our ceremony. :) :)

I've had the honor of attending a wedding officiated by Mary Lee. It was a beautiful, casual wedding outside on a hill overlooking the water in front of the couples' home in Urbanna, VA. The couple was super "themselves" and had a very specific vision of what they wanted the ceremony to entail (I know, I helped them plan it and put it together!) Mary followed their vision to a tee. outside she spoke loudly enough for everyone to hear her. Mary made the entire process as easy as possible for the couple which is so important! (Really, who has time to worry about more details on their wedding day or the time leading up to it???) I had an amazing officiant at my wedding so I can relate to how important these details are. Finally, and most importantly, Mary Lee is completely open-minded to all requests and knows when to interject with thoughts and knows when to keep silent and respect the couples' wishes. As much as I LOVED my officiant, I wish I'd had the privilege of working with Mary Lee!

Mary is AWESOME!! She met with us before the wedding at our home so she could get to know us and help us put together our ceremony. We had so much fun with her. She gave us samples to start, and then let us completely edit everything as many times as we needed until it was right. We wanted to keep everything religiously neutral, which she was very helpful with. I can't even count the number of people who commented on how beautiful and genuine our wedding ceremony was! We heard over and over about how true to us it was, and how special it felt. We agree!! It was perfect. Mary is great at what she does
